Quality is one of the issues that guarantees national and international recognition. All the Divisions are ISO 9001:2000 certified, and especially the Iron Division has ISO TS 16949, a current requirement of the automotive segment.

Wetzel is recognized for its punctuality and the services rendered.  The results and good acceptance levels are also reflexes of the continuous professional improvement of the company’s employees and its productive processes.

Therefore, improvement is stimulated through internal programs to keep quality levels: Lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Housekeeping, TOC (Theory of Constrains) with the APS-Drummer software and the formation of Quality and Productivity discussion groups (CCQs).

Besides all of the aforementioned, we are also implementing the Environmental Management System (SGA - Sistema de Gerenciamento Ambiental) initial step for ISO14000 certification.
