To broaden its performance, in the sixties already, the company included the production of cast aluminum electro-hardware for transmission lines and power distribution.
In 1966, to accommodate the products it offered and its growing competence, the company becomes a limited liability corporation, changing its name to Metalúrgica Wetzel S.A.
In pace with Joinville’s growth, another step is taken to increase the production line, meeting the growing demand for electro-hardware, now as hot dip galvanized cast iron fittings. |
